Four days is enough to experience two of Tanzania's most distinctive parks properly. Tarangire for elephant density and baobab landscape. Ngorongoro for the concentrated wildlife of Africa's largest intact caldera. Neither park requires more than two days to make a deep impression, and neither disappoints.

This circuit suits guests arriving from Kilimanjaro or Zanzibar for a post-climb or post-beach safari extension, travellers with a fixed departure window, and guests testing Tanzania before a longer return. It does not compromise on what matters: a private vehicle, a qualified guide, and genuine time in each park.

Common Questions

Before You Book

Why not include Serengeti in 4 days?

Adding Serengeti to a 4-day circuit means long driving days and very little time in the park once you arrive. Tarangire and Ngorongoro are both exceptional parks that reward a focused visit. For guests who want Serengeti, we recommend extending to 7 or 8 days.

Is this suitable as a post-Kilimanjaro safari?

Yes. This is one of the most common uses for this circuit. After descending Kilimanjaro, 4 days of game drives is a natural physical transition. The contrast between high-altitude trekking and watching elephants from a vehicle is one of the reasons this combination is popular.

Can the circuit be done in the reverse direction?

Yes. We can start at Ngorongoro and end in Tarangire. The reverse direction changes the dramatic arc, some guests prefer to finish in Tarangire rather than at the crater, and we adjust the route accordingly.

What is the best season for this circuit?

Both parks work in all seasons. Tarangire is at its most dramatic in dry season (June–October) when elephant herds concentrate along the river. Ngorongoro is reliable year-round.

Can this be done as a business trip extension?

Yes. This is a common use case. Guests in Arusha or Kilimanjaro for work can extend by four days and cover two of Tanzania's best parks without long drives or complicated logistics.

What is included in the price?

Private vehicle and guide, all accommodation, all meals as listed, park fees, and transfers. International flights, visa, gratuities, and personal expenses are not included.
