Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route, rest in Moshi, then domestic flight from Arusha to Zanzibar for five nights on the Indian Ocean coast.
Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar are geographic opposites within the same country. The summit stands at 5,895 metres in a glaciated alpine zone; the Zanzibar coast sits at sea level on a coral island in the Indian Ocean. The contrast is one of the most vivid transitions available in a single journey, and it happens within 90 minutes by domestic flight.
After descending from the mountain, a rest day in Moshi allows the altitude and physical demands to settle before the flight. Five nights on the island provide genuine decompression: Stone Town for culture, then the north coast for beach days and the particular calm of the Indian Ocean at evening.
Both parts of this journey are operated by us from Moshi. The Kilimanjaro guide team, lead guide, assistants, cook, and porters, are selected for safety, experience, and attitude on the mountain. The Zanzibar stay is arranged with the same care as any of our island journeys.
Why Travel With UsEvery route is planned by people who know Tanzania's land, seasons, and wildlife rhythms firsthand, not from a distant office.
Your own vehicle, your own guide, your own pace. No shared game drives, no group timetables. The day moves as the wildlife moves.
Two accommodation tiers across every destination, chosen for position and character. Both feel like Tanzania.
We operate with genuine care for the communities, wildlife, and environments we work within.
