7-Days-Natron Safari Trip

After breakfast you will set off from Moshi and make your way through beautiful tribal areas en-route to Tarangire National Park (approximately 4hrs) with picnic lunch boxes and enjoy a game drive before you check in at your accommodations in the late afternoon.

The Park is well known for its famous upside down trees (Baobabs) and the largest concentration of elephants unlike other National Parks. A spectacular game viewing can be witnessed in the dry season as the permanent waters of Tarangire River become the main source of water supply in the park to a different migratory species like huge herds of Wildebeest, Zebras, Elephants, Elands and Oryx

After breakfast, head off to Serengeti National park via Olduvai Gorge, Sire Louise and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Continue driving to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch along the way.  Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti Central (Seronera) before you check in at your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Today you will have a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Your Chef will serve you with all your meals including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. In the evening you will spend another night at your accommodation.

After breakfast start off your day with a morning game drive in the endless plains of Serengeti for chance to see great herds of Wildebeest, Zebras and Gazelles or a pride of Lions lounging in the shades and later then drive back to Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge as you make your way out to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

The earlier the better, On this day it is best to leave the hotel as early as possible so you can see the variety of animals that are only active during the morning hours; breakfast will be packed in lunchboxes specifically for this purpose. You will be among the first vehicles descending the 600 meters into Ngorongoro Crater for superb game viewing.

The Crater is considered one of the natural wonders of the world, it is undoubtedly the best place to see the endangered species of a rare black Rhino, not to forget prides of Lions including the black maned males. There are lots of colorful Flamingos and variety of water birds. In the crater you are also likely to see Leopards, Cheetahs, Hyenas many members of the Antelope family, and small mammals of all sorts. In the afternoon, slowly begin the climb out of the Crater and drive back to Karatu to relax while waiting for dinner and a good night rest.

After breakfast you will begin the day with a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Frequently seen in Lake Manyara National Park are Zebras, Impalas, Monkeys, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos, and Warthogs among many others with most green everlasting forests throughout the year. Hot Spring is another spectacular feature of this place. In the late afternoon you will be transferred to Lake Natron for dinner and overnight stay

After breakfast begin your day by exploring the Gorge of the rift valley as you head to Ngaresero Waterfall. This trekking is very light and relaxing. Then you will be transferred to Lake Natron, where approximately 75% of the Lasser Flamingo in the world are born at this alkali Lake, enjoy bird watching as you walk along the shores with a beautiful view of magnificent Ol Doinyo Lengai (Mountain of God) and stick around for lunch. In the afternoon, you will be driving back to your Hotel in Moshi.
