Journey Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Tanzania+

Direction: Kilimanjaro Airport → Arusha (1 hr)

Activities: Private transfer, rest & recovery

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your private guide and transferred to your lodge. The remainder of the day is left open for rest after your international flight, allowing the atmosphere of Northern Tanzania to slowly unfold.

Day 2 – Tarangire National Park+

Direction: Arusha → Tarangire (2.5‑3 hrs)

Activities: Full‑day game drive, picnic lunch

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Accommodation: Lake Burunge Tented Lodge / Tarangire Treetops

The safari begins in Tarangire, known for giant baobabs and large elephant herds. Wildlife encounters start shortly after entering the park, with opportunities to see giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and predators moving through the savannah.

Day 3 – Journey to Central Serengeti+

Direction: Karatu → Central Serengeti (4‑5 hrs)

Activities: Scenic highland transit, afternoon game drive

Direction: Central Serengeti → Ngorongoro Highlands (4‑5 hrs)

Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater Safari+

Direction: Ngorongoro Highlands → Crater → Karatu

Activities: Early descent, crater floor game drive, picnic lunch

Day 7 – Lake Manyara & Return to Arusha+
